In response to a recent article in the Washington Post, HMichaelH wrote: “For those who care about families of deployed military, and, especially, for those who don’t, reading the novel, “Alice Bliss” by Laura Harrington should be mandatory. I have yet to read something that so accurately describes what it is like to live day-to-day with a spouse in the combat zone. It is a captivating story told by a 15 year old girl, and one that makes it difficult to put the book down.”
